Delete Your Data

You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete it yourself, in the app

If you still have The World Awaits installed, this is the fastest way:

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Options.
3. Under Account, tap Delete Account Permanently.
4. Confirm the deletion.

This immediately and permanently removes your profile — this cannot be undone. If you just want a break instead, use Deactivate Account, which hides your profile until you log back in, without deleting anything.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or would rather have us handle it, email us at [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your data. Include the username or email you signed up with so we can find your account. We'll confirm once it's done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, messages, matches, and likes from our systems. We may retain limited information where required for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, a record that a banned account existed), consistent with our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are typically processed within a few business days.
